Parallel Realities Episode 2

Hello, Mike Chadwick here with a brand new show. I’ve been listening to Jazz Rock/Fusion, discovering, and bringing artists to people’s attention for over 45 years, working for Virgin Records, Decoy Records (my own specialist store based in Manchester), broadcasting on Jazz FM and SoulandJazz.com since 1990. Working in the music business, Jazz was my focus that started in record shops, moved to programming venues and promoting bands and eventually for the last 13 years as an artist manager, managing incredible bands/artists like:- Snarky Puppy, Michael League, Bill Laurance & Mammal Hands. Alongside all this was my first love, Progressive Rock & Progressive (primarily) instrumental music and I have always loved how that never went away and always informed my musical DNA. My desire to create a radio show around all this has always been there so:- Welcome to the Parallel Realities Show, a 2-hour musical mystery tour exploring my own personal musical journey. Expect to hear a crazy mix covering all areas of Jazz Rock/Fusion, Progressive Rock, Instrumental music that blurs the lines, excites the senses and comes at you inspiring musicality by the world’s greatest musicians. It could be old, new but not borrowed and only blue in the sense of the blues and what that has taught every musician and composer. Could be funky, rocking, swinging, soaring, melodic, dirty, wherever the mood takes me but always with authenticity and commitment to what I believe in and love, always looking to be constantly joining the dots.
