PROGRESSIVE TRACKS SHOW #221 (#116 REDUX – A Tribute To Chris Squire)
The Progressive Tracks Show #221 (#116 REDUX – A Tribute To Chris Squire), originally recorded at KPTZ 91.9 FM on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, is now available to download or listen to any time you desire.
Life has gotten in the way of The Progressive Tracks Show this week, and so I find myself having to (wanting to) play an older (pre-Progzilla Radio) show. What to pick… what to pick…
Having just marked the second anniversary of Chris Squire’s death, as well as his recent posthumous induction with Yes into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame… this pick was a no-brainer, really: Loads of the ‘Fish’ packed into a mere 90 minutes (60 of the original KPTZ show, plus 30 bonus minutes).
There will never be another… Chris Squire. R.I.P.
NOTE: I recorded this just a few days after Chris’ death, so excuse the occasional cracking of my voice (I still get a bit teary listening to some of this music).
