Shaun Geraghty

Shaun has been a radio presenter since 1982, starting in pirate radio broadcasting across Europe from an aerial strung between trees in the forests of Staffordshire. Soon after, he became a regular presenter and member of the management team at Hospital Radio Stafford, staying there for 32 years and receiving long service awards. Shaun also worked extensively in local community radio in Staffordshire on several stations including Stafford FM, Stone FM, Chase FM and Smart Radio. When Stafford Radio, an online community radio station started broadcasting from a 220 year old windmill in 2011, Shaun began presenting 'The Prog Mill' (the name inspired by the station's unique base). Stafford Radio became Windmill Radio before closing in 2016, when 'The Prog Mill' became part of Progzilla Radio. The Prog Mill leans towards the melodic and symphonic side of progressive rock, and includes regular album reviews from our friends at The Progressive Aspect, CD Giveaways, and a regular fun quickfire quiz.
