Lazland – Old Album, New Thoughts Episode 1

Playlist

A new series on Progzilla Radio discussing whether the older Lazland agrees with his younger self’s assessment of classic rock albums. This episode examines Pink Floyd’s The Wall and its main architect, Roger Waters. I raved about it back in the day. What about in 2024?

The first two of this series have been published on my YouTube channel, which can be reached by clicking on the link at www.lazland.org, but these (Yes Drama & 90125) will be uploaded to Progzilla Radio as soon as time allows. In the meantime, next month – the second part in this episode, discussing The Division Bell.

I have been writing as Lazland for several years now, initially in journals, then on Prog Archives, but now running my own content at www.lazland.org, a site I am inordinately proud of. I fell in love with rock music at the tender age of twelve, and am passionate about promoting intelligent music of all genres, especially avoiding pigeonholing artists into narrow definitions and genres. Now, on Progzilla Radio, a new phase in my lifelong passion in bringing music to discerning people has begun, and I couldn’t be happier. Born in 1964, I am a career civil servant in the UK living in rural West Wales. I have dual citizenship of the UK and Malta, my paternal family coming from the lovely island. I am very happily married to the most beautiful lady in the world, and we have two sons, one of whom has seen King Crimson with his father.
